What to get for the man who has everything?  This CHROME Edition shaving set by TwinLuxe is about as good as it gets when it comes to a no-fail gift for the discerning gentleman, being the perfect fusion of form and function. 

To wit: The highly refined, highly polished razor and brush are designed by Marek Djordjevic, the man responsible for the exterior designs of the Rolls-Royce Phantom series, and are produced in Germany. “The shave sets are manufactured using computer controlled milling machines that allow for 0.001" precision and accuracy,” explains Djordjevic of the set, which incorporates the materials, finishes and advanced technology found in fine timepieces, automobiles and surgical instruments. All parts are then hand polished, and each set is hand assembled by TwinLuxe’s identical twin founders (and former Wall Street traders) Anthony and Hubert Tsai. The shaving brush features natural silvertip badger hair, which lifts the beard and gently exfoliates the skin to achieve the closest shave possible. The CHROME Edition shown here is available plain or monogrammed and comes packaged in a handsome walnut wood box with a complimentary micro-cotton shave towel and jar of Instant Rescue Gel (conveniently, the razor uses Fusion blades by Gillette).

As with most innovative designs, the duo was inspired to launch TwinLuxe when they couldn’t find a shave set to their liking. “We don't eat with plastic knives and forks at home so why shave with a $5 plastic razor?” said Hubert Tsai. “We decided to launch a line of men's luxury grooming products we ourselves wanted to use and that we thought others like us—successful young professional men—would want to use, too.” 

Drawing on the TwinLuxe Founders' Taiwanese heritage, their grooming products incorporate a custom blend of Asian botanicals, such as Pearl Powder and Hydroloyzed Rice Protein.  We have packaged their Soothing Face Balm, Booster Serum and Smooth Shave Cream together as a Shave Care Kit ($174) to further enhance the shaving experience.

The trio’s goal with TwinLuxe, adds Djordjevic, is to transform “a mundane, everyday routine into a morning celebration.” Mission accomplished!
