An artist and passionate traveller who is deeply in tune with the natural world, Robin Resch received a Guggenheim Studentship in Venice at the age of 18. She went on to study Art History and work in fashion for Karl Lagerfeld in NYC, and then for contemporary art spaces in the Netherlands. Also an architect with a Master’s from Princeton, Robin continually explores the synergy of photography and design. In 2012, she founded Blur Studio in order to specifically traverse and unite the boundaries of both media. Her photographs are painterly abstractions that explore impressions and compositions of color and light, intentionally blurring the image to free it from a literal reading.
