Chef John DeLucie is a Founding Partner of Crown Group, launching hospitality projects across the country, and The Waverly Inn and The Lion in New York. A native New Yorker, DeLucie’s upbringing in a traditional Italian-American family helped nurture his love of great food. His grandfather owned and operated a vegetable and grocery market in Brooklyn, and each night his grandmother turned fresh ingredients into remarkable meals that brought friends and family together at the table. DeLucie has been featured on numerous television segments and publications including “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,” “Gossip Girl,” Vanity Fair, The New York Times, and Saveur, and released an acclaimed book, The Hunger: A Memoir of an Accidental Chef.
