production & design
"'Oya' is a kind of traditional lacework, which generally created for expressing the feelings and telling stories by woman in Anatolia.
The elements of nature, most often flowers are stylized as Oya Motifs and each motif symbolize different feelings.
As two women from Anatolia, we reinterpret the Oya motifs and stylized flowers and we create a new story by using this traditional expression way for Oya Series.
All pieces from Oya Series are handmade and created in our ateliers in Istanbul."
