From sheep to blanket, there's no comparison for 100% Norwegian wool for it's warmth and softness.
Care & Maintenance: Wool is naturally self-cleansing and dirt-repellent. Cleaning is rarely needed. If the blanket acquires a stain, it is recommended to clean the stain, not the whole blanket. Repeated washing will have a negative effect on the quality. Avoid friction between the fibers when wet, as this can cause unwanted felting and shrinkage.
Cleaning Instructions: We recommend dry cleaning or wool program (maximum 30 degrees Celsius / 86 degrees Fahrenheit), using a proper detergent (for wool). Do not tumble dry or use heat. When wet, leave the blanket flat with a towel or towels folded neatly around it.
Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll are two of Norway’s most lauded designers and members of the design team involved in the internationally renowned Norway Says design office. Røros Tweed’s Berg and Skog designs were the first designs launched on behalf of Anderssen&Voll. Berg, which is named after a textile artist called Sigrun Berg, received the honour of being awarded the Award for Design Excellence in 2011.
The Glamos Norwegian Wool Blanket features a traditional Norwegian pattern with a palette selected from natural impressions: ochre, sky-blue, grass green, rust red, and sea turquoise. The colors of the Glamos Norwegian Wool Blanket are selected from complementary colors to create a look of rich expression.
The wool from Norway is one of the world's most environmentally friendly textiles. It is the world's only textile to be approved under the Nordic and European Eco-labels and to meet the criteria for a Cradle-to-Cradle product.
