The Agnes pillow fabric is made from Norwegian lambs wool. Norwegian wool is known especially for excellent softness and high volume.
Care & Maintenance: Wool is naturally self-cleansing and dirt-repellent. Cleaning is rarely needed. If the blanket acquires a stain, it is recommended to clean the stain, not the whole blanket. Repeated washing will have a negative effect on the quality. Avoid friction between the fibers when wet, as this can cause unwanted felting and shrinkage.
Cleaning Instructions: We recommend dry cleaning or wool program (maximum 30 degrees Celsius / 86 degrees Fahrenheit), using a proper detergent (for wool). Do not tumble dry or use heat. When wet, leave the blanket flat with a towel or towels folded neatly around it.
French designer Inga Sempè creates visual poetry, and she is well-known all over the world for being a designer of extraordinary sensibility. She has done remarkable works in furniture, lighting, objects and textiles for many renown brands. Inga was awarded the Grand Prix de la Crèation en design de la ville de Paris in 2003. Her two first works for Røros Tweed are the blankets and cushions Agnès and Bernadette.
The Agnes Norwegian Wool Pillow combines two moving rhythms. Along the horizontal, lines of graduated shades change color and the vertical is dashed like rain. The two movements coincide randomly, making each section of the pillow unique.
The wool from Norway is one of the world's most environmentally friendly textiles. It is the world's only textile to be approved under the Nordic and European Eco-labels and to meet the criteria for a Cradle-to-Cradle product.
