Each piece of fabric at Handa is subtly unique due to the hand weaving and hand dyeing process. All of our materials and dyes are natural and 10% of proceeds go toward Mangyan community projects.
Hand wash or cold machine wash, separately, delicate cycle. Use mild detergent. Do not tumble dry, soak or bleach. Iron at medium setting if desired.
Handwoven by the indigenous 'Mangyan' women of the Philippines, designed and assembled by Hannah Haworth in upstate New York.
Natural cotton cloth for face and body, featuring a Japanese cotton cord hanger. Double layer, one side featuring 'Big Wave' and the other 'Little Wave'. Textured hand-weave provides natural exfoliation. Cloth softens with use.
Variation in color and pattern may occur from the hand-dying process and the hand of the weaver. Indigo will bleed with initial washes.
