Google has created the OnHub Router as a smart compact device meant to be placed at a central location in your home. This shroud for the OnHub Router transforms the device into a sculptural object encouraging to have the device on display rather than hidden away in a corner. This will also ensure the best functioning of your router.
Spot clean with mild detergent.
This piece is made by coiling and stitching a continuous piece of cord on an industrial sewing machine.
Routers work better when out in the open, so Google asked me to design something you might actually want to have on display. This sculptural shroud for the OnHub Router by TP-Link is made from 100% cotton cord and sewing thread. The form of the shroud, as well as the free-form patterned stitching, reference the flow of data in and out of the object within, aiming to give form to the invisible. The sewn cotton shell incorporates a hole at the peak for ventilation and an up-turned edge at the base for cord access.
This product also contains a Google OnHub, which will be shipped separately. OnHub is the new Google Wifi system provides a different way to improve your wireless network. For more details about the OnHub: http://www.ahalife.com/product/149000048419/onhub
*Please note* - each piece will be somewhat unique in shape, size, and stitch pattern due to the handmade process, but I will do my best to make each piece as similar as possible to the piece in the photos on this page. Because this item is made to order it has a 3-4 week lead time.
