This triangle symbol represented "good", "well" or "healthy" for the Hittites. For our third collection we decided to seek inspiration from the Hittite Empire, which was based in Anatolia – a region which is now part of modern Turkey. We wanted to honour an ancient people and popularise a civilisation where women well respected and represented even 2000 years ago. Each piece in this collection is named after its meaning in Hittite hieroglyphics. Part of the profit from sales from this collection will be donated to the HeForShe Project. HeForShe is a solidarity campaign for the advancement of women initiated by UN Women. Its goal is to engage men and boys as agents of change by encouraging them to take action against negative inequalities faced by women and girls.
