Crescent Moon symbol (1700 BC). For our third collection we decided to seek inspiration from the Hittite Empire, which was based in Anatolia – a region which is now part of modern Turkey. We wanted to honour an ancient people and popularise a civilisation where women well respected and represented even 2000 years ago. Part of the profit will be donated HeForShe Project. HeForShe is a solidarity campaign for the advancement of women initiated by UN Women. Its goal is to engage men and boys as agents of change by encouraging them to take action against negative inequalities faced by women and girls.
