Pop the top off your favorite microbrews or classic sodas with this clever bottle opener. Precision-turned from a single piece of solid brass, the weighty opener will elicit a unique satisfaction for every open bottle. Designed by lighting architect Luke Smith-Wightman, the opener was developed when the designer began using a precision machine for another project. Smith-Wightman wanted to experiment with making a simple, functional item, and while sipping a beer one evening, he decided to create a bottle opener. In less than a month, he was opening brews with this solid brass bottle opener, which he dubbed "pivo" after a traditional European term for beer.
