This pocket knife offers preparedness without the bulk or ruggedness of a tactical pocket knife—refined and compact, it slips easily into your tux pants or dinner jacket. Made by a renowned cutlery company that has been in operation since 1764, the knife is hand-assembled with brass linings and brass pins, and completed with nickel bolsters at both ends. Cut with the larger drop point blade or a smaller pen blade. The rosewood handle is richly hued, with variegated shades and pronounced veining.
Keep the knife clean and dry. Clean knife by applying mineral oil and scrubbing crevices with a soft brush. Remember to keep your knife sharpened: a dull blade can be more dangerous than a properly maintained one.
Registered in 1764, knife manufacturer Joseph Rodgers has served under five successive monarchies, from its founding in the 18th century to the early 20th century: George IV, William IV, Queen Victoria, Edward II and George V. To this day, Joseph Rodgers' knives continue to be made in Sheffield, England, a city renowned for being one of the world’s most respected steel works centers.
