Kaufmann Mercantile worked with a family of shoemakers from Maine to create this exclusive boot. The pull-up leather is from Chicago's Horween Leather Company, founded in 1905 and one of the oldest continuously running tanneries in the U.S. The hand-sewn, double whipstitch boot features a traditional hand-stained leather outsole and antique brass eyelets. An all-around classic style for work or weekend wear.
We recommend that you insert a pair of cedar shoe trees in the boots whenever they're not being worn. The cedar will draw moisture and odor away.
Keep your boots as clean and dry as possible. Buff with a leather cream when necessary.
Run by a father and his sons, this Maine shoemaking business has been in operation since 1964. All the boots and moccasins are handmade by seasoned shoemakers, some with over four decades of experience. Hand-fitting the shoe to the shoe-form creates a softer, more custom fit, as the leather is allowed to stretch and mold to your foot. The leather is carefully tacked into place on the shoe-form, also called a “last,” then hand-stitched to create the shoe upper.
Hand-sewn, double whipstitch leather boots with antique brass eyelets. Deeply moisturized, hand-stained leather distresses well and improves with age. Exclusive to Kaufmann Mercantile. Made in the U.S.A since 1964. Fits men's sizes 9-11.
