Made from pure lambswool, these blankets are lightweight, soft and warm. The traditional green, blue and white plaid pattern is attributable to the Douglas clan of the Scottish lowlands, one of the most prominent families in Scotland during the medieval period.
Dry clean only.
Founder Peter Anderson joined the woolen industry at the age of twelve, in 1859. In 1892, he reached the ranks of designer and began his own weaving shop with three handlooms. Following a rapid growth in the business, he soon moved operations to a mill with twelve water-powered looms. Several years on, Peter passed the business down to his sons, Tom and Lewis. Under their direction, the company began to manufacture clothing for Brooks Brothers and other renowned brands. Today, the company is one of the largest tartan manufacturers in Scotland.
Soft and lightweight plaid blanket, woven from 100% lambswool. Use as a cozy extra layer on the bed or a throw on the couch. Made in Scotland by a traditional tartan manufacturer.
