These prints are based upon an original drawing, done with archival ink pens on paper, by illustrator Lucy Engelman. They are printed on Cold Press Natural paper with ultrachrome HDR (high dynamic range) inks. This type of ink has a wide range of color, creating a deeper, denser and richer black tone. The source material for this illustration is the flora of Rabbit Island, where Lucy spent a month last summer. She especially enjoyed drawing the paper birch segment, having always admired the bark and the details of its fine, horizontal flaking strips and black scars.
Keep dry and away from sunlight to prevent fading and curling. Framing will protect the print, but it can also be hung up with pushpins or office clips. Print does not come with frame.
