Like the warm, welcoming arms of mom, the “Mama” wall hook invites you to take off your coat and hang up your hat at the end of the day. Designer Jonas Bergfeldt received the award of Excellent Swedish Design in 1997 from the Swedish Society of Crafts and Design (Svensk Form) for his conception of the Mama wall hook. Each one is cast by hand from recycled aluminum, then powder coated to a smooth finish so that your favorite sweater doesn’t snag.
Install into the wall at the desired location with the two accompanying screws. Use a stud finder and screw into stud to provide more stability if necessary. Wipe clean with a soft cloth.
In 1937, founder Gunnar Bolin began his company with sketches for a hat rack that was manufactured from scrap aluminum. The philosophy of ecological and economical products continues today, with nine full-time employees. This Swedish company aims to reduce the use of raw and natural materials, and, as with this Mama wall hook, utilizes recycled aluminum in many of their products.
Recycled aluminum and powder coated wall hook, with two arms to securely hang a heavy coat, two light jackets, or a hat and umbrella. Comes with two screws for wall installation. Made in Sweden. Sold in North America exclusively at KM.
