The gold satin finish of this business card holder belies its 100% brass body and nickel coating. Meant to withstand daily use, the nickel coating has a high hardness (almost as hard as steel) that's commonly applied to kitchen utensils, bathroom fixtures, and electrical and mechanical tools.
To clean, wipe the card holder with a soft cloth.
Mr. Hiroshi Tsubota founded his small accessories company in 1952, just after the end of World War II. He set the tone for the new company with his first product: the “Violet,” an innovative cigarette holder and lighter combination made of hand-pressed acrylic and metal. In 1983, the brand began to other small, refined goods, including mirrors, card holders, and perfume sticks.
With its gold satin finish, this business card holder facilitates graceful networking. Its hinged lid automatically lifts and separates a single card from the pack. An interior mirror provides the opportunity for a sly teeth or lipstick check. Use it to store credit cards and bills if you want to pare down for an evening out.
