Discerning drinkers know that a flask without a funnel is like a Bonnie without a Clyde, a Sonny without a Cher. It’s also a recipe for a lot of wasted hooch.
Designed to assist in the decanting of alcohol, even the steadiest of hands will appreciate how easy this little accessory makes replenishing a flask. Don’t let the diminutive size fool you though - this thing is small for a reason. The modest dimensions make it ideal for slipping into a pocket or handbag with civilized discretion.
Hand crafted by a historic company which prides itself on authenticity, the design and production of this funnel is the same today as it was over 200 years ago. Follow in the footsteps of early American pioneers and use it to fill your trusty flask with something that’ll put some hair on your chest.
If left untreated, copper will naturally oxidize and age wonderfully. You can polish it up to restore its shine using copper polish, or let it earn a beautiful patina.
To clean you funnel, just rinse with warm water and mild soap, then dry it thoroughly. To clean tarnish, use a soft cloth and apply a small amount of cleaning solution to the tarnished areas. Read more about how to do this here.
Note: High heat is an enemy of copper and should be avoided.
Because each funnel is individually hand made, some imperfections may occur as a natural part of this process.
Founded in 1819, this company has been producing the highest quality cookware since the U.S. was no more than a mere 22 states. Every step of production, from the shearing of copper sheets to the soldering of the metal pieces, is done by hand just as it was well over one hundred years ago.
Company president Sean Bandawat recognizes this process as a dying art, but remains devoted to keeping his products authentic. This funnel has been soldered—not welded—partially for the sake of this commitment to authenticity, but also because, in Bandawa's opinion, soldering makes the final product look that much better.
