This backpack will help you shoulder your load with its 100% cotton canvas body and cotton webbing shoulder straps padded with wool felt. The leather bottom maintains the shape of the bag, when empty or stuffed to the brim. The shoulder straps are padded with wool felt for comfort, and are secured with copper rivets and sewn on with a saddle leather patch.
The main compartment closes and opens with a hemp drawstring and stopper made of buffalo horn, secured through its zipper pouch top flap fitted with a saddle leather strap and brass buckle.
Side leather patches allow you to secure extra equipment onto the bag with bungees and carabiners.
Fill the rucksack with your supplies, and when you’ve run out of room in its main compartment and interior and exterior zipper pocket, hang your jacket, water bottle and other items from its side leather patches with bungees or carabiners.
Spot clean with a damp cloth. Condition leather with oil if desired.
