Seth Papac compresses unique sterling silver ingots to find distinctive fragments, which are used with innovative techniques, mechanisms and finishes to deliver artistic accessories. With the Torn Tie Bar, they have created a small, eye-catching tie bar to flatter your professional or formal attire, and highlight the colors of your tie. Everyone will comment on this menswear piece.
Made in the United States.
Details: Made from sterling silver and is either finished bright silver, blackened and finished to two-tone, or 18-karat gold plated. The tie bar is fashioned by hand as one piece, and thus uses a tension mechanism to slide onto and hold your tie. Metals are nickel free and hypo-allergenic for most people, unless you have an extreme allergy and must wear only solid gold.
Care: Bright and 18-karat gold finishes may tarnish with normal long term wear, gentle polishing when needed is recommended; however, heavy polishing can rub off plating. Excessive use and polishing of blackened items can also rub off patina. With normal use, patina will remain black and even darken.
