This rich Tigerwood colored pillow is a traditional handcrafted batik created with a tjap or block dipped in wax and applied to the cotton. The material is then immersed in a dye bath. The wax areas resist the dye, so when the wax is removed by boiling, the pattern remains. Eco-friendly plant based dyes are used for the batiks, which are produced with Textiil's partner in Indonesia. Textiil supports environmental initiatives as a proud member of 1% for the Planet.
