Months of research and scouting led to this vintage Japanese silk, chosen for its extremely high quality and bold, authentic design. Handcrafted in a single limited batch, each necktie is its own work of art and comes with its own edition number. The weave of silk used in this tie is called Tsumugi: an ancient textile, traditionally used to make kimonos. Bundles of silk threads, taken from empty or deformed silk cocoons, are hand-dyed and set on a tension loom before being carefully hand-woven to create a textile that's both crisp and soft.
Made in the United States. 100 percent vintage Japanese silk.
Details: Measures 2.5 inches at widest point. Lined with 100 percent linen chambray. Individually hand-cut and stitched. Fabric imported from Tokamachi, Japan.
Care: Medium steam-iron. Dry clean only.
