In Morocco, they refer to it as ‘liquid gold’, and that's just one way to describe the magnificently restorative oil produced by the Argan tree. Not only does it taste delicious, but Argan Oil is also packed with super-nutrients: when compared to olive oil, it has twice the amount of vitamin E and is more resistant to oxidation which causes the oil quality to degrade. Due to its unique combination of fatty acids and minerals, Argan Oil has the ability to fight free-radicals, combat cell damage, is an antioxidant, insulin resistant and has anti-inflamatory properties. Liquid gold doesn't even cover it.
Made in Morocco.
Use: Culinary Argan Oil can be enjoyed by drizzling over bread or used for sautéing. It has a nutty slightly fruity taste. This product is USDA Certified Organic Culinary Argan Oil (argania spinosa).
Source: The Berber women—an indigenous tribe to North Africa—were the very first to discover the cosmetic and nutritional value of Argan Oil and, centuries later, their skill is still required to carry out the arduous task of extracting the oil, which is done by hand and can take 15-20 hours of manual labor to produce just one liter of oil.
