The tradition and culture of the "norcineria" or salumi shop has made the cutting board an essential element in the Italian kitchen. These bold-scale boards are produced in limited editions by master carpenters from Umbria, using reclaimed materials found in centuries-old estates, farms and churches. Rustic on one side and smooth on the other, you can use the board for food prep and presentation. It's functional art with a fresh take on traditional form.
Made in Italy. Cutting board. Available in "Il Buco," Single Handle, Spindled Handle, or Double Handle. Crafted with recycled wood. Care instructions: wash by hand with mild soap. Seal with natural oils. Each is hand carved and sizes are consistent but approximate. "Il Buco," Spindle and Single Handle measure approximately 22 inches x 9 inches; Double Handle, 31 inches x 9 inches.
