The Kabbalah-inspired design refers to text in the Zohar about G*d looking through a lattice window. The Shekinah peeks in and the congregation’s prayers go out to G*d through the lattice window. The lattice window was an architectural feature in 18th century Eastern European synagogues and is called the Gate of Heaven, both concealing and revealing G*d. The pendant is a fine-art bronze casting using the lost-wax method, an ancient process utilized during the time of Abraham. Rich in color, the light affects the polished bronze in various ways and looks great year-round, worn with both winter and summer clothing.
Made in the United States, the limited edition Gate of Heaven Kabbalah Pendant is crafted from bronze. With dark brown round leather cord and a recycled glass bead, the length is adjustable. The piece is signed and numbered, museum quality. • Dimensions: Approximately 2-3/8 inches round, 3/16 inches thick (varies)
