All are unique and handcrafted pieces of art, which are now available in many authentic colors and different sorts of wood to help you put together your own unique conversation starter. The Danish design tradition goes all the way back to the 1950s. It brings sweet music to many ears by creating something very simple and minimalistic. Making the aesthetic goes right along with the practical. All Danish Fuel designs are proudly Made In Denmark. Danish Fuel original Jerry Cans come from military surplus stockhouses. We have preserved the original can that won the WWII, and added some unique features which have given new life to the old military Jerry Cans.The design is timeless. A conversation starter and a practical piece, this bar cabinet is crafted from recycled Jerry Cans from World War II, originally used to hold supplies like gas and water. Old rust and paint have been removed and a durable, long-lasting powder coating has been added. Shelves are made of plywood in oak, walnut and smoked oak for a truly unique and beautiful home bar experience.

As many of today´s unique designs, Jerry Cans also origin from a time with limited resources and a nessity to create successful designs. One of the truly important historic transportation products is the Jerry Can - a nickname created by the British and US forces. A "JERRY" was used as a slang term for Germans during WWII. Thereby the name A Jerry Can. The orignally can name wa "Wehrmacht-Einheitskanister" for "armed forces unit canister". The Jerry Cans was developed in the 1930s for Military use. The fuel has to be efficiently stored and transportated to aid soldiers and war machines at the front lines. Without fuel, tanks could´nt drive and without tanks the war would be lost. Danish Fuel is created by collecting used Military Jerry Cans and upcycle them into storage designs - an exclusive lifestyle products. Design The design was absolutely brilliant an ahead of it´s time. It could be stacked efficiently, and had three handles making it easy to carry everywhere. four empty cans could be carried by one soldier. two full cans could be carried by one soldier three full cans could be carried by two soldiers. The can that won the World War II ,,Without these cans it would have been impossible for our armies to cut their way across france at a lightning pace, which exceeded the German Blitz of 1940”. President Roosevelt Jerry Can production during world war II. In 1944, more than 21 millions of Jerry Cans were spread all over Europe. The German Einheitskanister was first duplicated by the US Armies followed by British Armies. In the end, more than 200 factories were manufactoring Jerry Cans throughout WWII.
