This sculpture might make you want to say “no” to bacon. Humans have been raising pigs for meat since as far back as 13,000 BC when we first domesticated wild boar. In addition to being extremely tasty, they are also highly intelligent and social animals. Meticulously hand-crafted using a technique called needle felting, the piece is made by repeatedly poking a clump of wool, compacting it until it becomes a solid object.
Made to order in the United States. Pig sculpture. Crafted from wool and steel wire. Please note: because the designer is a farm and hand-makes every piece himself, delivery times may vary significantly depending on the time of year.
