Brancusi: New York: The pure, abstract sculptures made by Constantin Brancusi have had a large and enthusiastic audience in New York ever since they were first shown on American soil at the 1913 Armory Show. Through stunning archival images and text by art curator Jérôme Neutres, Brancusi New York tells the story of the mutually beneficial relationship between the sculptor and the Big Apple. The book also features gorgeous new photographs of the five bronze sculptures on display at the Paul Kasmin Gallery in New York for the exhibition Brancusi in New York: 1913-2013.
Modern Views: As two of the most famous works of residential architecture, Mies van der Rohe's 1941-45 Farnsworth House & Garden and Philip Johnson's 1947 Glass House, have inspired nearly 90 creations for an exclusive project with the National Historic Preservation Trust. As well as these artistic works, Modern Views also features Christy MacLear, executive director of the Philip Johnson Glass House, critic Paul Goldberger, and an essay by preservationist Phyllis Lambert and historian Sylvia Lavin.
