About Nawrap

The Nawrap line was founded in Nara Japan in the 1930s. The family-run business began as a mosquito net manufacturing company, but later transitioned into home textiles. Nawrap still uses the traditional Japanese weaving techniques that were used back then to create their fabrics. This unique weave makes the fabric incredibly strong, absorbent and quick-drying. Many of Nawrap's products are completely natural with no dyes or chemicals used during production. Nawrap is also known for their binchotan charcoal products. Binchotan is the highest grade of charcoal, and Nawrap infuses this charcoal into their fibers. The charcoal is used to naturally absorb odor and bacteria.
