NYC-based designer Mansi Shah is all about alchemy. She says, "The idea of play and alchemy is intrinsic in my process and creating a print is instinctive, seeking inspiration from movement and magic." She creates signature prints and products driven by line, form, color, texture, volume and composition, inspired by Cy Twombly's scribbles, Josef Albers' color theory and visual music artists like Mary Ellen Bute and Walter Ruttmann. She graduated from CalArts' graphic design program and currently produces all her unique prints in the heart of New York's Chinatown and develops close relationships with ethical printers and manufacturers to create high-quality products from concept to execution.
