In 2012, structural engineer and designer Richie Duncan travelled to Chile to teach natural building. Once there, he also became a student, and learned of the zome geometry. He began to study this complex geometry and how it could be used in structural practice, design and art installations. And the Kodama Zome was born. Now expanded to a variety of hanging pieces, the Kodama Zomes blend contemporary style with classic lines. They are a synthesis of form and function, architecture and structure, sculpture and movement. Kodama Zomes is proud to be designed and manufactured in Oregon by our skilled team of craftspeople. We love what we do, and we love our creations.
