In 2014, Americans shelled out over $2.8 billion in repair and replacement costs for laptops, phones and tablets due to damage from their children – and as these devices continue to grow with content for our kids, so grows the need for us to protect our investment. Whether skyping with grandma or using my iPhone, I was constantly nervous that the application would be interrupted or worse, my device was at risk of damage. I realized there was nothing in the marketplace that allowed me to introduce tech in a positive way (and not have to use the word, no). So we created Kid Lid to make the interaction between my daughter and tech better.
