Diana Beltran Herrera is Colombian designer and artist who has been working with paper as the primary medium in the production of her work. She is interested in the theory and understanding of nature and material as elements that exist around us and are present every day. For Herrera, there is a considerable distance in the relationship between humans and nature. Throughout her work, she aims to repair this relation by producing elements that are constantly removed, altered and forgotten. Her work is presented as a resistance, where those sculptures remain in an ideal state – a representation of a reality that doesn't change.
