During his 2nd world tour with singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright, Mark Armstrong Peddigrew unwittingly began a jewelry business. Thanks to his love of scouring flea markets, he amassed an initial inventory of handsome charms and rustic oddities that he placed on chains - first as gifts for friends and then, by happy accident, his first actual order. After retiring from the road, he turned to crafting his own designs, all the while maintaining the narrative found in his first works. Committed to creating conversation starters, the pieces that make up 'cartography' are vignettes of art and history: at once melancholy and romantic, edgy and sexy, masculine yet sensitive.
