Oddly enough I learned ceramics while interning at NASA in Houston. I had been invited there to help construct the latest SEV Rover and in my spare time I started studying slip casting with my roommate who was also working there. It took a while but I eventually learned how to construct pretty complex molds and from there I started to really flourish with my ideas. Ive been doing it for about 5 years and its the most gratifying craft I have ever been exposed to.
