Musician Lotte Mullan came up with the idea of a song as a gift when she was away on tour and realized that it was the evening of 14th February and she had forgotten about Valentine's Day. She wrote and recorded Valentine Song and posted it up online for her husband; not only did he love it, but thousands of others did too and they shared it online with their loved ones. Not long after, it was picked up by film director Ridley Scott, who featured it as the central theme to his short film 'Kismet Diner', which won first prize in the Manhattan Short Film festival. The song became a Youtube hit and Lotte began receiving many requests to write bespoke song commissions. A brand was born!
