Barbara Smith, Irish-French artist studied at the prestigious Goldsmith’s College in London, famous for its Young British Artists. Smith trained with famous artist-designer Javier Mariscal. Smith's distinctive work includes exciting skull sculptures, paintings, screenprints and photography frequently characterized by contrasting themes of life, death and hope, the beauty of existence and its fragility. Her clients include art collectors and influential UK British interior designer Abigail Ahern. Barbara Smith has exhibited internationally including Paris, Miami, Pittsburgh, New York and Houston alongside Masters of pop Art Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Tom Wesselmann.
