New York-based Baking for Good has a simple premise: Remember those charitable bake sales at your elementary school? Yeah, those were the best. Each purchase of their all-natural, made-to-order brownies, cookies, and other sweet treats includes a donation to the charity Pencils of Promise. Launched in September 2009 by a 25-year-old Emily Dubner, Baking for Good pays homage to your childhood favorites. And of course, beyond nostalgia, each goodie is upgraded for a chic, cosmopolitan crowd. If Martha Stewart ran a bake sale, this would be it!
