AMAC 1960 is a California modernist design company known for its use of sleek plastics for functional containers with clean lines. Award-winning designers Eric Pfeiffer and Scot Herbst collaborated on the functional and sleek Rhombin Desk Organizer for the manufacturer. Pfeiffer founded his studio Pfeiffer Lab to approach everyday design challenges with timeless yet beautiful objects, four of which can be found in the SF MoMa permanent collection. Herbst is best known as one of the minds behind the HP Touchscreen and award-winning designer crafting furniture, housewares and toys having founded Kaiku design, which produces non-toxic plastic-free toys.
