Inspired by the overlap between the urban landscape and natural environment, Adam Ambro's work looks to find beauty in less than obvious places. Beginning with a recycled canvas of newspaper, layers of pen, marker and whatever else happens to be within arm's reach are added. The end result is a highly textured, imperfect interpretation of some of the world's most iconic adventure mobiles. Based in Golden, Colorado, Adam is a full-time architect and part-time artist. He was named a 2013 Cherry Creek Arts Festival Emerging Artist and honored in the 2D category at the 2015 Golden Fine Arts Festival.
