Location: New York City
Product: Animal Shot Glasses.
Interests: Art, Literature, Photography, Writing. I love beautiful old things that capture moments in time.
Background: Photography.
Favorite meal: I can live on cheese alone.
Recent purchase: VPL cropped top.
Hidden talent: Spooky intuition.
Book recommendation: Just Kids by Patti Smith.
Restaurant recommendation: In Stockholm I always take friends to Gondolen for a cocktail and the view. I also like the restaurant at Hotel Lydmar. In Florence there is a place called Borgo Antico at Piazza Di Santo Spirito—they have a smoked cheese risotto that is beyond dreamy. As for New York, there are so many restaurants I love but my friend has a cute place on Elizabeth Street called Lovely Day. I always end up there at some point—either going out or coming home.
If I had $20, I’d… Pick up a latte from La Colombe and a magazine from McNally Jackson Books and enjoy the lot with my puppy on a stoop close by.
Transformative travel experience: I moved to London by myself after college and in those days you had to have a visa much like going to the US today. I didn’t have one, all I had was a dream and the cash I had managed to save during the summer. At immigration I managed to hustle my way into the country. I took a black cab to an address in London where I knew an old lady rented rooms so students. It was night, it was raining against the car window. I felt high on life and I felt invincible.
Favorite neighborhood: Since you ask me today and I am severely homesick: Gamla Stan in Stockholm.
Dream holiday: Egypt - I want to get to the top of those rocks.
If I could solve one problem, it would be: Squeeze out more hours in the day. I probably have to give that one up.
I wish people cared more about: Their manners.
Recent aha! moment: Trust more and control less.
The world would be a better place if: Europe was closer to New York.
