Interests: Handicrafts and the history and culture associated with it. Being hands-on in the creation of wearable art.
Background: I was born in Hong Kong, but have traveled extensively for over 30 years and am self-taught as an artist.
Favorite meal: Homemade gourmet Chinese food like steamed fish and congee vegetables.
Recent purchase: Artworks by Chinese artist Fung Ming Chip and Indonesian artist S. Teddy.
Hidden talent: Natural ability to read people and connect with them.
Book/film recommendation: The Joy of Living by Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche.

If I had $20, I’d… : Buy a bouquet of flowers or a lush, green plant.
Transformative travel experience: I would say that Bali gave me my first awakening with its powerful, spiritual energy that helps to inspire me. I had my second awakening in Yunan with all of its resplendent undiscovered regions.
Favorite neighborhood: Sai Street, Hong Kong. A little alleyway off Hollywood road, in Hong Kong’s burgeoning avant-garde area of arts, antiques and design.
Dream holiday: Cuba for its music, color and vibrancy, or China for its tranquility and serenity.
If I could solve one problem, it would be: Human communication.
I wish people cared more about: Others.
