What inspired you to create the parachute bags?
These handbags are made for women with busy lifestyles that may include business meetings, play dates and dinner plans. This style can be worn with a pair of dressy jeans, a business suit or a stylish summer dress. Each handbag is designed with practical features such as interior pockets, key holders and larger cell phone pockets for carrying a Blackberry or iPhone.

What are some of the special features of this bag?
The parachute hobo is one of our most popular styles. The soft and luxurious leather creates a comfortable but sharp look. The diagonal zipper makes it a cinch to get in and out of: Just drop one strap and pull up or down on the zipper. And the light-colored interiors make it easy to find items in the handbag. 

What do you love about what you do?
I am trying to strike the right balance in life by spending a lot of time with my two young daughters and building a business that helps women with their busy lives. I love talking with our customers. Women can be so incredibly inspiring and supportive of each other. We all have a unique story that is woven together with different goals and desires in life. Launching my own business has been such an incredible experience because of all the wonderful and supportive women I have met along the way.

How would you sum up your aesthetic/design philosophy?
A fun yet sophisticated woman who is on the go wears a Ralston; she might be a fabulous single woman living in the city or a manicured mom from the suburbs. It’s important to offer sophisticated designs that fit “on-the go” lifestyles.
