Fusti is the Italian word for tank, which is exactly what these beautiful stainless steel containers look like. Though we love them as centerpieces for home entertaining and use them to serve beverages to guests, Italians traditionally use fustis to dispense olive oil, vinegar and wine, a holdover for the days when everything was sampled before being purchased and individually bottled for each customer—an old-world custom we think it’s high time to revive.
