Desk Pendulum Clock
By Resource RevivalRemember your childhood nostalgia of riding a bike with this funky and arresting clock made from a bicycle cog, wheel and chain section. The face is also made from black recycled tire rubber to really capture the theme. A classic design from Resource Revival, this clock is rumored to sit on the desk of the curator of MOMA.
THE STORY
Another bike shop’s garbage is Resource Revival’s treasure. Taking discarded materials from bike shops, this company transforms and refines bike junk into unique-looking and practical products such as bowls, clocks, bottle openers and more. This idea of “Rebicycling” came from Graham Bergh in 1991 while getting a flat tire, biking to his recycling job in Oregon. Bergh aimed to create a company that gave people the time to do what they love, embraced eco-friendly values and artistic craftsmanship.
