The company originally sold footwear components, but changed its business to be a leather supplier for different industries. By the 1990s, Moore & Giles’ vision became more fashion-oriented and focused on the aesthetics of natural leather.

During the last decade, the company has partnered with tanneries in Spain, Italy, New Zealand, South America and the Far East to increase the variety of their stocked leathers. The business then expanded further, reaching the top hotels, restaurants, residences and design projects. In 2007, the company continued to evolve its fashion-driven brand by releasing a line of bags and accessories that showcased the classic look of leather.
