The Nantucket Bike Basket Company was started by Kristen McCann, who spends half her time in Nantucket, and whose family has been in the basket business for more than 30 years. “We were frustrated after buying what seemed like disposable bicycle baskets year after year, and so we decided to make our own!” she says. “We wanted a beautiful, classic bicycle basket that would hold up summer after wonderful summer.”
