Sir Richard’s Condom Company has devised a condom that is as notable for its charitable endeavors as is it is for its stylish, well, package. For every Burberry-esque condom, designed by Austin O'Connor, the company sells, they’re donating one to a country in need, thereby giving a whole new meaning to responsible sex.

For every Burberry-esque condom, designed by Austin O'Connor, the company sells, they’re donating one to a country in need, thereby giving a whole new meaning to responsible sex.

Instead of the standard cliché condom packaging, Sir Richard’s has devised a unisex friendly gingham box that you won’t be afraid to leave out on your dresser. Each is color-coded to denote style: green for Classic Ribbed, pink for Pleasure Dots and orange for Ultra Thin. These premium condoms are made from 100 percent natural latex and contain no glycerin, spermicide, parabens or the dairy product casein (making them vegan-friendly).

Worldwide, not nearly as many people have access to condoms as need them, which means that HIV/AIDS remains an ongoing epidemic. In order to combat this, Sir Richard’s is appealing to discerning, responsible individuals who want to align their purchasing power with their social beliefs. Their initial partner in this venture is Partners in Health Haiti. 

“We set out to create a more socially accessible product that could live outside of a traditional drugstore setting, thus making condoms more of a lifestyle accessory rather than just an OTC medical device,” explains Mia Herron, the company’s director of marketing and communications. 

We’re offering Sir Richard’s Condom in sets of 24 (two boxes of one type) or 36 (one box of each type).
