In celebration of the luck of the Irish—and perhaps in the hope that it will rub off on the rest of us—we’re offering these faux-leaf clover cufflinks that we commissioned from Colombian jeweler Clara Saldarriaga.

Yep that’s right. Faux-Leaf Clover. Since we love Saldarriaga’s one-of-a-kind pieces that she creates from real plants and flowers, such as her beautiful rose and orchid earrings, we asked her to make this special St Patrick’s design for us from a real leaf cut into a clover shape. Saldarriaga uses a combination of pre-Columbian techniques and new technologies to dip fresh greens in electrolytic copper and then plate it with 24k gold or sterling silver.

Both ephemeral and concrete, rather like luck itself, these unique cufflinks are a very special way to commemorate the most Irish day of the year.
