These pure cashmere fingerless gloves are made by a family-run brand that has been around since 1797. The company first set up shop in Elgin, Scotland, near the River Lossie, which at that time powered the watermills. Today, the mineral-rich water is still used to clean and soften the raw cashmere fibers.

The process for creating these cashmere gloves begins during molting season (which can last from March until May), when Kashmir goats shed their winter coats and the wool is collected. The makers select what they judge to be the best Kashmir goat fibers and have it sent to the mills. The fibers then go through a 12-step process – from dyeing to carding to spinning to weaving to knitting and more – before the product is finished by hand.
